Michael P. Toshok, D.O., has two decades of experience as a physician. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering at the University of Pittsburgh and completed medical school at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences/Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Doctors Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, and his residency in anesthesiology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, as well as at UPMC and its Pain Evaluation & Treatment Institute. Dr. Toshok also has appointments in Pain Management at UPMC Presbyterian; Excela Health’s Westmoreland, Latrobe and Frick Hospitals; Highlands Hospital; and Life Care Hospital of Pittsburgh in Monroeville.

A board-certified physician, Dr. Toshok is a member of the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Toshok has been in private pain management since 1999; he holds board certifications from the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology and the American Academy of Pain Management. He is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. As an expert lecturer, Dr. Toshok frequently is asked by pharmaceutical companies to speak about topics related to drug development and use.
